LBCCC Holds Annual Meeting, Board Chair Transfer of the Gavel & Volunteer Recognition Event

The LBCCC held their 2017 Annual Meeting/Volunteer Recognition program, sponsored by 94.5 PST and St. Mary Medical Center, on Thursday, June 8 at Pen Ryn Estate on the Delaware in Bensalem, PA. Chamber members, Committee Chairs and Roundtable chairs were presented with distinguished awards recognizing their exceptional efforts that contributed to the Chamber’s success. “I want to thank all of our volunteers who were recognized today for their tireless effort and dedication to make our Chamber and events a great success. Our Chamber members are the lifeline of our organization, and I applaud our Committee Chairs, Board of Directors, and Committee members for all they do,” said Amy M.B. McKenna, President & CEO of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber’s highest honor when exceptional service merits its award, given only to a current or past member of the Board who has greatly exceeded their normal duties and responsibilities as an active Director, and by their continuing actions, or a single act which makes a significant and exceptional contribution to the advancement of the Chamber’s goals and activities.

With the Chamber’s 2016-2017 fiscal year coming to a close, Suzy Buehler of McCafferty Auto Group delivered the “State of the Chamber” address. The ceremonial transfer of the Board Chair Gavel was given to Brandon McFadden of TD Private Group. “I appreciate the opportunity to have served the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce for the past year as Chair of the Board. Over my past 30 years of involvement, I’ve seen many changes, challenges and accomplishments with this Chamber, and this year has been no exception. I’m particularly excited about the new Strategic Plan that has been the focus of this past year. As Chair Elect, Brandon McFadden led the Strategic Planning Committee and is perfectly poised to begin implementation of this aggressive, yet attainable 3-5 year plan. Brandon’s leadership, experience and understanding of this organization will insure continued growth and added value for the members of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce,” stated Suzy Buehler.
