Wow!!!

What a difference a month can make.

Let me start by saying that I am a skeptical individual. I don’t believe in “get rich quick” schemes or the night cream that promises younger looking skin in 7-14 days.

But … a fellow business woman encouraged me to join the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. As a new business owner and budding entrepreneur, I was initially doubtful of the effects that joining could have on my business. My first introduction to the Chamber was a no obligation Business Card Exchange that I attended. After which, I received a phone call from a long-time member of the Chamber. We talked for a bit on the phone and I immediately felt comfortable with him. He offered me some sound business advice and encouraged me to further pursue enrollment within the Chamber.

So, needless to say – I took the plunge! I was quickly able to form friendships and connect with mentors from various business backgrounds. I met people whom I would have never encountered had it not been for my membership in the Chamber and the many events they offer.

I am now a very active member and have been involved in a number of committees. As a committee member, I am part of the inside decision making process that affects me directly as well as my fellow business owners. Doing such has provided me with a vast supply of resources and learning opportunities. I am looking forward to what the future will bring!
